Whether it is Guerrilla Marketing with limited financing, or working with a multi-million dollar budget, Rick Verbanas has always had a passion for marketing. He has over two decades of experience helping companies with marketing strategy/execution and, most importantly, getting results.
Rick has had classical training and success in traditional forms of advertising; radio, television, newspaper, print, direct mail, OOH, public relations, promotions, events, sales collateral, etc. Likewise, Rick has experience getting results through digital tactics such as SEO, pay-per-click, social media marketing, digital advertising and more. While working at marketing firms, he managed over $10M in annual advertising budget for multiple clients across the country. His strategies increased sales for several different clients as much as 240%, raising gross revenue from $50,000 to $120,000 a campaign.
Not always having a $10M advertising budget, Rick has also found unconventional methods to expand markets and increase revenue. Involved with starting up two successful businesses, Rick found his niche in finding innovative ways to increase brand/company awareness. Using SEO/SEM tactics, Rick took a start-up e-commerce business from inception to 3,800 distinct online customers in less than five years. Using public relations, social media, and guerrilla marketing tactics, Rick took a start-up brick & mortar from inception to over 40k sales transactions under six years. Both businesses were ultimately bought by the competition.
Rick has brought his passion for marketing to Fortune 100 companies, small businesses and not-for-profits. He strives to stay current in the latest marketing best practices, and provides this blog for your news and enjoyment. And, he is an all around swell guy.
Rick is based in Central New Jersey and is currently looking for a new home where he can provide his passion for marketing full-time.
